History of NFL top draft picks

Hi, my name is Jovan Hurst. I'm 31 years of age. I have been watching sports as long as I can remember. I am an avid sports fan. I like almost any sport. I enjoy anything that is competitive. This blog is about what I consider one of the most competitive jobs in sports, the number one draft pick. Most professional sports have a number one draft pick. Sometime these players become the face of the sport. We all go to college to land a good job. Something better than average. In history number one drafts have done well and some have been a total bust. When owners take this risk on these kids out of college they are giving lots of money to the unknown. In this year NFL draft we had a very talented draft pool. There was a kid by the name of Andrew Luck from the University of Sanford who went first in the draft and Robert Griffin III second pick was kid from the University of Baylor. They both are quarterbacks with amazing skills. In the last few weeks leading up to this year NFL season I feel like there has been lots of hype around the what some people consider the number two guy. Much of his attention is deserved. My question is what category will Andrew Luck fall into the guy who is a bust or the guy who is the new face of the NFL? Only time will tell...
